In an official ceremony held on Friday, 14 June 2019, Mr Norbert Schreier, deputy mayor of Hilden, Mr Friedrich Weil, managing director of Liwon Hilden GmbH (Client), and Mr Harfid Hadrovic, managing director of Harfid GmbH (main contractor) laid the foundation stone for a residential and commercial building at Beethovenstraße 35 in Hilden.

105 rental flats and a supermarket will be built for Liwon Hilden GmbH on a construction site of about 4,000 m². Completion is envisaged for mid-2020.

The 17th Metro Group Marathon in Düsseldorf saw IQ Real Estate again participating with twelve runners in three relay teams. Of the total 20,000 competitors, 4,000 ran the whole marathon distance, 12,000 took part as members of relay teams, and about 4,000 ran the half-marathon, which was organized for the first time. The IQ teams finished 390th in 03:37:51, 420th in 03:38:53 and 911th in 03:51:25.

After the exhausting part of the marathon day, the runners were joined by supporting colleagues and family members in a rented pagoda tent on the Rhine embankment promenade and everyone enjoyed a tasty barbecue, chilled drinks and the splendid weather.

The Autumn Convention of the German Association of Project Managers (DVP) was held on 8 November 2018 in Berlin under the general theme “Project management strategies in disruptive markets”. Daniel Kalus, shareholder and managing director of IQ Real Estate GmbH, presented a paper on “Building in overheated markets – methodic strategies to avoid failure from a project management perspective” and attended the panel discussion addressing the question “How can project management be successful within the current market constraints?”
