IQ Real Estate GmbH has taken over the project management for the Schlösser Areal project in Düsseldorf-Derendorf. The three housing cooperatives BWB, DWG and WOGEDO intend to jointly realize a residential quarter comprising three structures (one oblong block with two wings, two separate buildings) with four to five regular storeys plus penthouse storey and about 130 capped-rent dwelling units. The architectural competition carried out in the middle of 2017 was won by the design of Tor 5 Architekten. Due to the increased noise level caused by the street and railway traffic, special sound insulation will be installed. Implementation of the project is planned for 2019 to 2021.

Following the improvement of the soil, earthwork for the MARTOR project started officially at the end of 2017. By the end of 2018, MARTOR, a Solingen-based manufacturer of safety knives, will comprehensively remodel its existing property and add a new production and administration building with a gross floor area (BGF) of approx. 7,500 m². IQ Real Estate GmbH has been providing expert advice on the planning since late 2016 and is now acting as project manager.

IQ Real Estate GmbH was commissioned by the Düsseldorf project developer Development Partner AG to serve as project manager for the realization of a new premium office and commercial building to be built at the Rudolfplatz square in Cologne. By mid-2020, a building meeting the highest demands with a total area of approx. 13,000 m² (BGF) will be erected on the site. On Wednesday, 14 June 2017, a jury of eleven, headed by Professor Jörg Aldinger and comprising representatives from politics and administration of the city of Cologne, representatives of the client and renowned architects, had selected the winning design by the architecture firm Max Dudler as result of a multi-stage selection procedure comprising the evaluation by a body of experts.

On 8 June 2017, the topping-out ceremony was held for the City Gate in Hannover. About this time next year, the modern office building will be completed and occupied by Vodafone Germany as the anchor tenant. The enthusiastic guests included representatives from the city and planning offices, trade contractors, Vodafone Germany CEO Hannes Ametsreiter together with numerous Vodafone employees taking a look at their future place of work. IQ Real Estate has been commissioned with the project management for the tenant.
