Kaispeicher project in Düsseldorf

IQ has been engaged as project manager for the Kaispeicher project in Düsseldorf. On a plot on Kaistraße in the MedienHafen area, the owner INTERBODEN Innovative Gewerbewelten mbH & Co. KG wants to revitalise a listed building for catering, fitness and office use. The interventions in the façade will be limited to a minimum and – in agreement with the monument preservation office – the interior fixtures will be largely deconstructed so as to emphasise the original “rough” character of the former storehouse.

Topping-out ceremony of the Hyatt Place Frankfurt

On 2 March 2017, the topping-out ceremony was held for the new Hyatt Place Hotel in the Gateway Gardens development area next to Frankfurt International Airport. 120 invited guests marvelled at the good progress of the project and the mock-up room, and were impressed both by the concept and the prominent and convenient location of the 312 room hotel. While the topping-out ceremony was slightly overshadowed by stormy weather, the project itself is running smoothly  and is both on time and within budget. IQ provides construction controlling services for the funding banking consortium.

Topping out ceremony for HORIZON –L’Oréal headquarters

On 3 February 2017, the topping-out ceremony was held for the HORIZON high-rise building. On this occasion, die developer Projektentwicklung GmbH welcomed numerous high-calibre guests from politics, business and culture, among them Thomas Geisel, Lord Mayor of Düsseldorf, and Fabrice Megarbane, Managing Director of L’Oréal Deutschland. The future headquarters of L’Oréal Deutschland comprises 16 storeys and offers 22,000 m² of office space. Completion is scheduled for late 2017. The design of the building was created by the architecture firm HPP. IQ Real Estate serves as project manager.

Topping-out ceremony of “La Tête”

The “La Tête” office building in Toulouser Allee 25-27 held its topping-out ceremony on 3 February 2017. Among the guests, Aurelis Real Estate GmbH & Co. KG welcomed the Düsseldorf Mayor Mr Thomas Geisel as well as Mr Gabor Steingart, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the publishing house Verlagsgruppe Handelsblatt. In late 2017, Verlagsgruppe Handelsblatt will occupy 13,700 m² of office space in this seven-storey property with its approx. 23,800 m². The building was designed by the architecture firm msm, and IQ Real Estate serves as project manager.
