In January 2016, IPM Immobilien Projekt Management Düsseldorf GmbH, a subsidiary of the municipal corporation of Düsseldorf, engaged IQ to provide project management services for two school projects: alterations and extensions of the grammar school at Koblenzer Straße, where also a large gymnasium will be built, and extensions and new builds for a comprehensive school with four parallel classes, including sports facilities, on Stettiner Straße.

On 5 January 2016, the building permit was issued for the HORIZON project developed by die developer Projektentwicklung GmbH on the plot at the corner of Johannstraße/Roßstraße. The project is a new build of an office and administration building with 16 full floors and two basements. In February, the main contractor Dreßler Bau GmbH started with the construction of the foundation/foundation slab for the future high-rise building.
The project developed by AC-Liegenschaften/HKS GmbH was completed by Goldbeck West in only 15 months and was handed over to the German Aerospace Center (DLR) on time. This state-of-the-art and sustainable building comprises approx. 11,000 m² of office and conference space as well as a two-level underground car park and is supplied with most of its energy by its own geothermal system. IQ consulted the investor on all technical matters and was also commissioned with the construction controlling.
Essen Hachestraße Grundbesitz GmbH in cooperation with van Wijnen Bau GmbH is developing a hotel with 174 guest rooms on Hachestraße for GhOtel GmbH, the future operator. Construction work started in August 2015 with the installation of a retaining wall towards the railway embankment to permit the use of the construction site. Currently, the shell is under construction with six full floors and two additional staggered floors. Completion is expected for 2016. IQ Real Estate supports the project with financial controlling services during the construction on behalf of the financing Deutsche Genossenschafts-Hypothekenbank AG (DG Hyp).
